This is a blog about pastel art, pastel news and events that I believe can be interesting to a wide pastel art audience. The main purpose of the “Soft Pastel News” is to promote soft pastel art and pastel artists. All links and pictures point to the artist’s websites and blogs. Beside small thumbnails that you can see in the posts I don’t have copies of presented paintings and I don’t claim any right to the presented artworks.

I will appreciate any kind of comment. What more would you like to see here? Do you have news that you want me to publish? Do you see some problems on the blog? Any suggestion…

    Thanks for creating this cool blog all about soft pastel! Being from Europe myself ( but now living in the U.S.) I love seeing the medium of pastel gaining a wider audience there, too. I like that you include pastel artists from all over. Keep up the good work!
